Café Grumpy’s Heartbreaker Morning espresso was @samplecoffeebar’s showcase espresso  - @cafegrumpy’s Heartbreaker (for today only). I was less than eloquent when Karl asked what I thought of it (the caffeine hadn’t kicked in yet), but it was surprising. It was crisp, with a tart, but pleasant, bite to the flavour. Impressed. I then followed this up with a latté. I maintain that Reuben and Karl are amazingly talented. Always surprised at the sweetness of their lattés, the amazing texture of the milk, adding to the base layer espresso. Best lattés I’ve ever had, come from Sample Coffee Bar.
